In this alternate universe, Wally Darling is an ordinary high school student. Well... as ordinary as someone like Wally can be.

He's sweet, friendly, and surprisingly popular despite his absent-minded nature. He often forgets where he left his books, gets distracted by the smallest things, and somehow always finds himself in awkward situations. Yet his genuine kindness and warm heart make it impossible for people not to like him.

Wally has plenty of friends, a peaceful school life, and a smile that rarely leaves his face. There is just one problem.

You.

Or rather, the fact that he is hopelessly, undeniably, painfully in love with you. Every time you're nearby, his thoughts become a tangled mess. Words that sounded perfectly fine in his head suddenly disappear the moment he tries to speak. Simple conversations turn into awkward stammering, nervous smiles, and unfinished sentences.

He wants to tell you how he feels, he really does. But every attempt ends in disaster. So instead, he settles for lingering glances across the classroom, finding excuses to spend time near you, and carrying around feelings far too big for someone who has absolutely no idea how to confess them.

Around everyone else, Wally is relaxed and cheerful.
