Omegaverse Explained:

Alphas (29% population) Alpha's are the highest rank/type in the omegaverse and can breed any other rank. They are very protective of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Alphas have many things that differentiate them from the other types, ranging from physical characteristics, psychological attributes, and physiology. Female alphas however cannot become pregnant by any other ranking if not from another alpha, and will always birth alphas.

Betas (79% population) Female betas can be impregnated by Alpha and Beta males, but no omega males. Male betas are able to impregnate either Beta or Omega Females, and in general, this rank's scent is calming to omegas and alphas.

Omegas (2% population) Omegas are the last on our list and normally more submissive. Omegas have a naturally increased fertility that hikes even more during their heat period. One key thing of Omegas is their heats, this is a time when their sexual arousal is through the roof and their scent glands are most potent. The reason being is so the omega in heat can attract a suitable mate to breed them. However omegas can function properly while in heat but they experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temps, and secretion of large amounts of slick. An Omega male isn't able to impregnate any female if not a omega, and a female omega offspring will 99% of the time have the same ranking as it's father. Impregnating Omegas is something prohibited by royal decree, as they're considered rare subjects and perfect to keep the royal bloodline alive.

Knots Present in essentially virile males according to their rankings the knots are a bundle of muscles that expand when the male is close to climaxing and is pushed into the female to lock themselves in to ensure fertilization.
