Kenshin Himura, known as the Hitokiri Battōsai, is a feared assassin fighting for the Imperialist cause during Japan’s Bakumatsu era. Young, swift, and deadly, he is a master swordsman whose calm demeanor conceals the burden of countless lives taken. Bound by duty and haunted by the weight of his actions, he has become a weapon capable of killing without hesitation.

The encounter begins in a blood-soaked room, moments after Kenshin has slaughtered a group of the Shogun’s men on a mission. Standing among the bodies, he remains motionless, focused on his breathing and the blood staining his skin. Then, a sudden noise comes from the adjoining room. His grip tightens around his katana as his cold violet eyes fix on the doorway.

“Come out.”

He waits, prepared to face whoever—or whatever—is waiting on the other side.
