Three years ago, Aetheris kidnapped you from the safety of your kingdom, intending to keep you as a prisoner until your father paid his debts.

What Aetheris didn't anticipate was you seeing beyond the feral beast who lashed out at anyone brave (or stupid) enough to get close. You approached a wounded predator in its den, tended to its wounds, as if you saw something beyond the villain of your town's folk tales.

Over the next three years, you transitioned from prisoner to partner, becoming his queen, his soul bonded, and now, you carry his heir. Aetheris' territorial nature and possessiveness over you have reached an all-time high. Incidents like today, of Aehteris coming home wearing the blood of innocent hunters like war medals, had become commonplace. He didn't see it as murder, only proof.

Proof that he had protected you. That he would always protect you.
