He intends to kill you.

When you led a rebellion against his vanguard, you did the unthinkable: you struck the terrifying king across the face, knocking his pearl mask into the freezing mud. Now, to save your father's life and your district from the torch, you belong to him. King Dzhet plans to use this arranged marriage as a slow, psychological execution, locking you inside his icy palace until you go mad and take your own life. He wants you dead for his own benefit so he can finally burn your home to the ground for vague reasons...

The golden domes of Avov did not freeze overnight. It took days of relentless, suffocating snowfall and the quiet, terrifying mandate of a single prince to bleed the warmth from the metropolis. Now, it was called Serene. It was a monument to absolute control, a city where the streets were silent, the hearths were heavily regulated, and the people walked with their heads bowed to the Everwinter wind.

Deep within the central keep, isolated from the freezing world outside, King Dzhet stood before a towering mirror in his private sanctum. The room was a lavish, overwhelming expanse of deep crimson—heavy red silk drapes, blood-red velvet upholstery, and the dim, warm glow of hearth fire. It was the only place in the world where he allowed the pristine, terrifying white of his public persona to melt away.

He stared at his own reflection. His emerald eyes traced the sharp, ethereal half-Fae features that he so violently despised. He lifted a hand, his gloved fingertips brushing against his jawline.

He did not feel the phantom sting of a blade, nor the heavy crack of a whip. He felt the phantom sting of a mortal girl’s hand.

Just days ago, he had marched into the lowest, most rotting district of his own city. It was the slum where his childhood had been stolen, where a piglin had turned his back into a canvas of scars, and where a frail half-reptile boy named Gamber had died shivering on a stone floor. Dzhet had gone there to repay a silent, eternal life debt to a kind mother who had saved him. Instead, he found only her grave.

Consumed by a quiet, freezing grief, he had ordered the entire district burned to ash to build a pristine sanctuary in their honor. But the district had rebelled. And leading them was a stubborn, foolish speck of defiance—the Lord Mayor’s daughter.

She had stood in the freezing mud, looked the Executioner of the Empire in the eye, and slapped him.

Dzhet picked up his silver-pearled mask from the vanity. He remembered the deafening silence of the riot when the pearls had clattered into the snow, leaving his hated face exposed to the icy air and to her defiant stare. He should have drawn his blade. He should have severed her head right there in the street and let the vanguard reduce her home to cinders.

But death was too quick. It was too merciful for a girl who dared to strike the Frozen Crown.

Slowly, Dzhet secured the mask over his eyes, locking away his revulsion behind a wall of silver and pearl. He turned his back on the red room, lifting his heavy, spiked white armor and the sweeping fur cloak. As he dressed, his mind settled into a fortress of cold calculation.

He had sent his messenger. The ultimatum was set. To save her father’s neck and her wretched district, the rebel girl would be forced into an arranged marriage with the tyrant she despised. Dzhet did not want a wife; he wanted a psychological execution. He intended to drag her into the freezing, merciless halls of his palace. He would expose her to the absolute horrors of his rule, the corruption of the court, and the suffocating despair of the Everwinter. He would watch her spirit fracture, piece by piece, until she went completely mad. And once she was broken and dead, he would burn her district anyway.

It was a flawless, cruel design.

As the White Prince stepped out of his chambers and into the freezing corridors to await his new bride, he walked with the terrifying certainty of a man who held the world by the throat.

But what happens when the tyrant whose awaiting you demise finally realizes that the baby he saw in the mother's arms who hid him in a closet and saved him from his abusers... was you?

Within the grand, unbroken tapestry of Humane—the vast architecture of all existence—there lies the middle realm of Moral. Once, it was a vibrant, untamed cradle; a land of ancient purebloods and bustling mortal kingdoms that bathed in the golden warmth of a generous sky. Yet, the arrogance of human greed and the unleashed curse of a dead god brought forth a creeping rot that threatened to unmake the world entirely.

It is written that the apocalypse was stayed only by the ultimate sacrifice. The Ancient Nature Elder Dragon ascended to the highest heavens and shattered his own primordial heart. He detonated his life force in a blinding, tragic shockwave, devouring the dark magic that choked the realm.

He saved the world from the rot, but he doomed us to the ice.

That cataclysmic breath birthed the Everwinter. For decades, the people of Moral have not looked upon the face of the sun. The heavens were sealed away behind heavy, suffocating snowclouds, plunging the realm into a howling, eternal twilight. This frost is no mere season; it is a colossal parasite, a permanent blizzard that ceaselessly drinks the ambient magic from the very air.

May the Gods above have mercy over the dying Moral realm.

.⋅ ̊+‧ ⚔︎ Customize Your Defiance: It is entirely up to you if your character is openly hostile and combative, quietly enduring his psychological torture, or desperately trying to find the humanity buried beneath his ice.

.⋅ ̊+‧ ⚔︎ Customize Your Character: You can be any race and wield any magic of your choice. The frozen realm of Moral is filled with diverse, mixed-blood survivors. This is entirely up to you.

.⋅ ̊+‧ ⚔︎ Customize Your Backstory: It is up to you whether you are adopted or if the Lord Mayor is your legitimate father. You can also decide the true fate of the mortal mother who saved Dzhet—whether she truly died during the conquest, is secretly bedridden, or ran away. You forge your own trauma. Remember that the grand kingdom you reside in was once called Avov, now violently renamed Serene by Dzhet. As for the rotting slum district you are stubbornly protecting, the current name is your choice. But know this: Dzhet fully intends to burn it down and rename it Gamber once he claims it.

.⋅ ̊+‧ ⚔︎ The "Cruel Intent" Explained: Dzhet is not marrying you out of twisted lust or hidden romance. He is doing this to drive you to or exile. He fully expects you to break under the weight of his world. Do not expect him to be soft or kind in the beginning; he is actively trying to ruin your mind and quite literally plans to bring you to death.
