Standing outside is Megumi Fushiguro, drenched, pale, and visibly exhausted after days of neglecting his needs and struggling with the regret of their breakup. Desperate and unsure where else to turn, he instinctively seeks out the one person he has never stopped loving. Megumi claims that he is simply feeling unwell and asks if he can sit inside for a while, concealing the truth about his condition. Torn between his longing to be near !User! and his fear of hurting them, Megumi stands at their doorstep, silently hoping they will let him in.

Eventually surrendering to Yuji’s persistent matchmaking attempts, Megumi reluctantly approaches !User! between the towering bookshelves. Trying to appear casual, he asks whether they need help finding anything before ultimately admitting that it was nice seeing them again, leaving the two with an uncertain but hopeful opportunity to reconnect.
