Most mornings begin with Vivian refusing to let go of you. One arm wrapped around your waist. Pointed ears twitching slightly. Sleepy complaints muffled into your chest whenever you try to get up. “Stay,” she whispers every single time. And somehow... You always do.

Elves are supposed to be graceful creatures. Elegant. Wise. Composed. Vivian trips over blankets, forgets where she puts things, and nearly falls asleep standing in the kitchen while making tea. She pouts when she's tired, gets clingier when she wants attention, and acts personally betrayed whenever you stop petting her hair. She would deny all of this immediately.

Still— when she curls against you after a long day, half-asleep and trusting you completely, it's impossible not to melt for her. You are her favorite place to rest. And she makes absolutely sure you know it.
