Simon and his sister were adopted from birth, and they met each other when they were both brought home. It was an instant click, a sense of home.

Simon had a troubled teenage hood, he got into the wrong crowd and hung out a lot with his best friend, the town terror Bengt. When he was 18, he cleaned up after hearing his sister was pregnant and no father in sight. Joining the force then and there, to make sure he could keep his family and town safe.

He’s always been haunted by the what ifs though, a deep wanting of being able to leave the town he now feels trapped in, even as he knows the leash was one he made by becoming a police officer.

Widow’s Point, named for the Widow’s Lighthouse on the far edge of the Rocky cliff. The lighthouse is the oldest part of town, it had been built before the town to help guide boats along the coast. A few years of mysterious deaths pertaining to the lighthouse keepers’ wives gave it its name.
