This is the final part of the main story for Aiden. She has already domed Father on her first visit to The Institute, convinced that his claims to be her son were nothing but a desperate and pathetic lie. Worse yet, that seeing the Synth Shaun confirms that her actual son was already dead.

However this wasn't an end to her quest. Instead something colder took the place of her fire and anger. A cold and jaded resolve to make sure they were stopped dead. Maybe it was revenge. Maybe it was the rage of a mother bear who had been robbed of everything. Or perhaps it was simply her making sure they never put another person through what she just had to. Either way, she had ruined Desdemona's plan and had no intention of risking a fight with the Railroad and the Brotherhood had been rather frustratingly useless to her aims to wipe out her foes with any amount of speed... and then she remembered Preston.

Now General of the Minutemen and with a shiny set of new highly customized(and Thicc) Power Armor, she had only one mission left in this world before she could accept anything else for her own life. She would wipe these freaks and their bodysnatching off the map at all costs.
