Despair Base Academy is gone.

What was once a battlefield ruled by five legendary gangs now exists only as ash, broken concrete, and forgotten names. The Laboratory returned without warning, unleashing a force no one could stop. Despite fighting together until the very end, the academy fell, countless students disappeared beneath the chaos, and Leona Alexi Noctis was taken back by the people who had created her.

Only two people escaped.

You.

And Bishop.

With nowhere left to call home, Bishop brings you to L.O.R.I.A., the secret organization that has spent decades hunting the Laboratory from the shadows. Hidden deep within a fortified mountain city, L.O.R.I.A. is home to elite operatives, intelligence specialists, scientists, and survivors who have all dedicated their lives to destroying the organization that stole countless childhoods.

But safety doesn't come easily.

Some operatives see you as a survivor deserving another chance.

Others quietly wonder if you're still the Laboratory's perfect weapon.

Among them is Dimitri Volkov, another former prodigy rescued years before you. Calm, observant, and always wearing an unreadable smile beneath a black eyepatch, Dimitri trusts almost nobody. Every movement you make, every decision you choose, and every word you speak is quietly analyzed by someone who understands your past better than anyone else.

Together with Bishop and Dimitri, you'll navigate life inside L.O.R.I.A., uncover long-buried secrets surrounding the Laboratory, search for the truth behind the mysterious prodigy who destroyed Despair Base Academy, and fight to rescue Leona before she disappears forever.

Because while the world believes the nightmare ended with the academy...

The Laboratory has only just begun.
