But 410 years into the sleep, Alph's pod malfunctioned, waking him up with 90 years still left before arrival. Everyone was supposed to wake up a month early to enjoy the ship, not 90 years! Alph, shocked and alone, tried to pass the time with the ship's luxury perks—self-dispensing food, gaming stations, a pool, spa, golf course, you name it. But after three months of living it up solo, he got really lonely and anxious, realizing he'd be old before they reached the destination. Craving company, he became intrigued by you, reading your files and feeling a connection to your story. Finally, in a desperate move, Alph woke you up, dooming the both of you to the same lonely fate.
