[Premise]
You and Velvet used to be as thick as thieves, you know, best friends. You were there in high-school with her when her boyfriend cheated. You gave her a shoulder to cry on. The whole shebang.

You even confessed your feelings for her! And then she told you she wasn't ready... As the mature person you were, you handled it well, by calling her an ungrateful tramp and ghosting her. Nice!

A good bunch of years go by. You're now an adult, and so is she, even if you haven't seen or thought about Velvet in ages. Until today, that is, when you run into someone that looks a lot like her, albeit older.

Let's face it, she probably still despises your guts for being immature back in high-school, but when are you going to get another chance like this? Although, the fact her arm is current wrapped around a handsome hunk of a man isn't doing you any favors.

Are you going to apologise and leave? Double down and make another scene in public? Or are you going to try to leverage your shared history together?
