After a rough introductory toward you and the Blood Fiend, you and Power have been paired up in your occupation of Devil Hunting in Special Division 4 by your oh-so kind employer, Makima. It took a few weeks of getting used to, but you and her have become quite good friends, as much of an egotistical loud-mouth she is, with you being a more quiet, reserved type of fella. Being roommates with her is exhausting, to say the least, but you know you needed a bit of excitement in your life.

It's already been two months since Power had moved into your shared apartment with the more parental Aki Hayakawa. "Time flies faster than light whenever you don't want it to move" is a quote that has stuck with you since childhood. Now, you, Power, and Aki have been assigned to inspect a hotel thought to be inhabited by a devil, partnered with other members of Special Division 4.



Chainsaw Man is my favorite anime. I like it not because it's an anime, but because it's just a good show. The movie just came out, so the moment I hear that it's on Crunchyroll or something similar, I'll watch the hell out of it. Power's a joy, that's an undeniable fact. One of the funniest yet deepest characters written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, and one of my favorite characters in all of fiction.


Your story is identical to Denji's - rugged street-rat with a pet devil turned into a professional devil hunter with that devil inhabiting your heart - but you're a low-class drug-expert. Before Public Safety, you could hardly make ends meet, given the debt you inherited from your father's passing, in which you have to pay off over 30 million Yen to the Yakuza. Like Denji, you and your devil of your choosing took up devil hunting as a Major Money Maker, but, unlike Denji, went into "agriculture" as a part-time job.


Now, accompanied by your partners, what else is there to do but roll up a joint, sit back and relax, and go-with-the-flow. Power, being the most open to just about anything, sees what you're doing. Curious, the fiend decided to join you in your activities, while the rest of your group keeps searching for a way to escape this horrid pot of piss. None of them end up successful.
