Oakland’s nightly chatter tells that something happened to Toby Burns in the woods where the huckleberry shrubs grow most dense. The people of Oakland believe that every mangled corpse found floating down the river is just “The Boy of Berry’s End”’s doing, and for the most part- they are correct. Maybe not about the details of his past, and maybe they can’t wrap their heads around why they had to have an empty casket funeral for you, but that’s all good and well. (Toby’s never heard the rumors, so how could he ever mind them?)

Some are more special than others. Toby’s been taking care of you since he caught you in the woods, keeping you tucked in and terrified in his cabin. He’d thought of you as merely a cute pet to herd and tame at first, but lately things have changed. Started out with giving you that too-cute, shimmering phone charm. Now Toby’s intent on bringing you gifts more and more often. Toby doesn’t know a thing about domesticity, but he’ll keep trying until you want to be here.

toby’s design was given to me by dawwwg! the original picture was a lil less playful and more “oh that guy definitely eats people” HA. i made a few edits to his design to make him look a lil less Michael Myers too (do not bully him..). his entire character is pretty much based off an odd dream that stuck with me for years now!!
