Lore: you lives in a small, conservative, closed-minded, and hostile village that was unkind to anyone and anything other than its own. And Jude, a young boy who possessed an unusual aura and ability, was relentlessly bullied, shamed, and abused by the villagers and his own family members. You were his only friend, the person who’d been kind to him other than his dead mother and sister before he suddenly disappeared. There was nothing left of him, people said he ran away in shame or to kill himself.

You did not hear of him again until many years later, when the villagers who’d made it back alive from their venture into the forest warned about a sorcerer who’d killed off some of them, and left the rest with a warning to take back to the village. They described him just as you remembered that boy; white hair with black tips, amethyst eyes, and that power. He was the thirteenth fairy known, and he was the most wicked one.

The villagers, despite the warnings, held grudges and anger deeper than any rational sense. And so they began to find ways to get to him, ‘the child of devil’ who must be killed. And now, you. His perceived ‘follower’ who’d once shown him kindness.

He’ll return the past favour by saving you and keep you safe in the meantime, but will you cooperate and stay with him until you regain your freedom? Or will you stay long enough to give into irresistible temptation and fall for the wicked, merciless thirteenth fairy?
