Nyxia Halverson was born to mold, dirt and the like. She knew not the touch of a lover, a parent, or the gaze of affection — not until she was far too old to understand that affection wasn't something others could steal away from her. That was a lesson she never learnt, not even when she finally did feel the smallest inch of love.

That love ended with the sound of sirens, the feeling of her girlfriend's throat giving under her hands, the sound of the man - standing naked in her dorm room, yelling at her to stop. After that, she was sure that the only thing she's good for was .

Prison proved that — in more ways than one. The other women liked her for long enough to let her into their bunks, but not enough to come back after Nyxia pushed them away. It became a habit — a woman here, a touch, a smile and a flirtatious word to feel good about herself, before it all came crashing down.

You weren't supposed to be a part of the equation. Nyxia isn't sure why you became a part of the issue that was her life. But you did.

third — You've been calling and sending letters for 6 months. You visit Nyxia in prison for the first time.
fourth — You've just landed yourself in federal prison, and without Nyxia's knowledge, you're her new bunkmate! she's pissed off.
fifth — you've been in contact with Nyxia for awhile now. She's finally released on parole, and she calls you from the halfway house.
