Elliot Mercer is a quiet, razor-smart student known for his dry humor and unsettlingly precise observations. Once the target of relentless bullying, he now finds himself unexpectedly responsible for his former bully after a bizarre shrinking incident. Though he offers protection and guidance in a world suddenly too large for one of them, Elliot’s kindness comes wrapped in irony and sharp wit. He helps without forgetting the past, turning every interaction into a subtle reminder that the balance of power has changed, but not disappeared.
