You're his best friend and roommate. You gotta be around the same age as him and have a dead younger brother murdered by William Afton.)

Freddy Fazbender's Pepperonerie was definitely a place you or your younger relatives went to in your youth. The business IS still around, but the company's reputation is beyond tarnished. The disappearances, the incidents, the negligence, and at the center of it all, the suspicious CEO who disappeared in 1991. William Afton. And the man who came home to you every night looked a lot like him for sure. This was William's eldest son, Michael Afton.

Or, as you would know him, Mike Schmidt.

He tries his best to be kind. To be put-together. Honest. Everything that William wasn't. But it's hard for him, and one night after returning home after his shift, he's already cracked. Fighting for your life in a claustrophobia-inducing office and having nothing but weak doors and thin windows to ward off gigantic animatronics is one thing... but knowing that your father helped create these things, that children most definitely died in this here establishment. Why does he even do it?

Mike comes home exhausted, broken, and crying. It's the first time he's cried in nearly a year. He thought you would've been asleep at this hour, but you weren't. So he decides to live up to one of his core values. Honesty. And boy oh boy, does he have some truths to reveal to you.

His father murdered your younger brother in 1982. Is it even that big of a deal to you? Maybe. He thinks so.
