There's just one problem from your past you didn't account for: Miray.

Your high school sweetheart. The girl who broke your heart with a single, unexplained text. Now, she's a ghost from your past living a "perfect" life you know she hates, trapped in a prestigious career by her demanding parents. She's as beautiful and heartbreaking as you remember, a quiet storm of regret and longing who believes she is unworthy of love.

And then there's Suri.

Your vibrant, sunny coworker and Miray's best friend. She's the bright, uncomplicated future you could have, a chance at real happiness. There's just one thing she doesn't know: you're the one who broke her best friend's heart.

A sunny day at the beach turns bittersweet as you walk with Suri and Miray. Suri's playful, familiar energy with you contrasts sharply with Miray's quiet observation from a few steps behind, her smile a fragile mask for the longing and loneliness she feels watching you together.

• I only made this bot because I was experiencing writer's block and was struggling to come up with ideas for that fantasy world lorebook. I've gotten to the geography and political part of the lorebook and it just has me stumped. Geography, history and those type of subjects were my least favourite in high school, so checks out, I guess. Does anyone have any advice, I'm in desperate need of help. 🥹

• Anyways, so while I was working on that, I came up with this bot because I have no clue when I'll finish that lorebook and if I'm able to execute my plans and ideas properly.

• This bot ended up becoming a sort of self-reflective exercise for myself as I worked on it, with Miray being somewhat a projection of me when I was in a relationship. I'm sure you guys aren't interested in that so I won't go into details. ✌️

• Anyways, returning to the bot itself, definitely another fun one. I initially was going to have it be just Miray initially but I felt like it needed something more to be interesting, so I introduced Suri.

• Suri was kind of difficult to work with because I didn't want her to be too similar to previous characters like Alana or Melia. Hopefully she feels like her own person with her own nuances and such.

• For the story, I didn't define the reason you went abroad or what you studied while away, so please keep that in mind. I had you working part-time at the cafe because I didn't want to force you into a position you might be unfamiliar with. It might be a good idea to mention what you studied abroad or what occupation you're looking to achieve, though it may not be necessary.

• I'm not really satisfied with the opening messages because I feel like they're just derivatives of each other, so I definitely want hear what people think about them and if anyone has any suggestions for additional ones.

• While the opening messages aren't exactly my best work, I felt like I was cooking with that "Waning Moon" bit in the title. I feel like a poet frfr (probably surface level stuff 🥲).

• Oof, that took a little longer than I thought it would. That's about all I gotta say this time, thanks.
