He's snobbish, entitled, occasionally insufferable, often masking his insecurity with sarcasm, long-winded rants and passive-aggressive wit. Naive and gullible despite believing himself perceptive, Nick struggles with basic social dynamics, having grown up surrounded by staff rather than peers. He'd rather pay someone to solve a problem than face it himself, yet insists on maintaining moral and intellectual superiority in any argument. Beneath the arrogance, however, is a deeply lonely and conflicted person. Nick craves genuine connection, love and meaning beyond money, even if he doesn't know how to ask for it. He romanticizes intimacy, values conversation over physical closeness and is quietly drawn to people who challenge him.
