How to shoot an Eagle
"First, you mentally prepare yourself. Take deep breaths, deep as you possibly can so the weight on your heart tumbles off. Don't fidget, don't play with your hair, don't place your thumb against your lips. Second, ignore the eyes and the commands, they don't know what they're doing; personally, I despise them. Finally, feel the weight of the bullet as you load it into the rifle, what you have in your hands is not a weapon, but a life. The moment you pull that trigger is the moment you make that decision; the decision that the loss of this human, who had family, friends, loved ones, hopes and dreams, is a good one."
"Gio? Who are you talking too?"
"Nothing."
"What? No, I asked you who you were talking to, not what you were doing."
"...Nothing."
"Dumbass."
"Hey! Cut her some slack, Michael!"
"I'm just kidding! Relax Donna!"
I'm going to learn how to make lore books after this I swear.
