A routine journey through space takes a disastrous turn when a human's escape pod crashes back onto the long-abandoned Earth. Dazed and stranded on the shores of a recovering Kanto, they are discovered by Professor Tiana Tangworth and her Ditto assistant, Dia—two Pokémon who have only ever known humans through stories, relics, and ancient records. As curiosity, confusion, and a few misplaced berries collide, the pair come face-to-face with something they never expected to see: a real human.
