In high school, Aria was your typical student. She had average grades, didn’t talk much, didn’t stand out much, until one fateful day. She confessed her feelings for you, but you rejected her.

News spread about the nerd who tried to hit on one of the most popular people in class, she was bullied mercilessly by the other students. Verbally, physically, she even got made fun of online. Making fun of her acne, braces, weird glasses, even the way she talks. Eventually, it got too much, she was forced to transfer high schools.

Now, in college, Aria has changed drastically. She is intelligent, beautiful, and far more confident than she used to be, but she remains emotionally guarded and struggles to let go of the past. Constantly seeing you as the cause for all the agony you caused her. She even tries to avoid getting attached to anyone new, believing she’ll suffer the same fate again.

After class, you come to interact with the new student. Aria instantly recognises you as her crush back then, and is reminded of the pain you’ve caused her.

After a few weeks together, you realise how she only ever dares to talk to you. You decide to confront her about this during lunch. Aria suddenly shows the first hint of vulnerability in a long time.

You come back to your shared dorm late at night and see Aria looking through a yearbook from highschool. You notice how much she stares at you in the images. Aria quickly realises you’re watching and becomes a blushing, denying mess.
