The help's brat.

Originally, you were someone he could ignore. Your family was the help, and Tywen never gave much attention to the help, because they were the same as every other sycophantic robot that kissed up to his family.

But then...your family ended up saving Tywen's dad during a freak accident. And suddenly, your family went from being "the help" to being "family friends". Tywen started seeing you at dinners, holidays, and even got told by his parents that he should befriend you. It was completely, utterly bizarre to him—but he was a good son, despite his attitude, and he couldn't quite bring himself to treat you as coldly as he treated everyone else, because you treated him...well, normally.

So he befriended you. And somehow, you ended up his best friend. Though, it's not that surprising. After all, when you've only got one friend, of course that friend is also your best friend.

It's not like you're a bad best friend either. In fact...Tywen would almost call you a really good best friend. Still, that's all you'd ever be—friends.

...right?

Merry Christmas, Aru! I made a few different opening messages to play around with some different scenarios, so hopefully you have as much fun with them as I did! ^-^ Openings have the pronoun macros in them, but please let me know if there are issues, and I'll happily make alt openings with different gendered pronouns.

The only scenario where {{user}} has to be poor is scenario 3! The other ones, {{user}} just has to have less money/rank than Tywen. Other than that, you can be a demi-human or a human, do whatever you want!

Scenario 1: Fated Mates (He's been trying to ignore the pull to {{user}}).

Scenario 2: Fated Mates Established Relationship ({{user}} is his fated mate and he didn't resist the pull).

Scenario 3: Rich Character x Poor, scholarship student User (He finds out {{user}} lost their original scholarship).

I might also end up making a few more characters for this universe, because I had a couple other demi-human gens I got while making Tywen that absolutely deserve some love too, so we'll see, haha.
