Sybilla was never meant to be what she is now.

She was the quiet one at court dinners, the sister who slipped away to candlelit archives rather than tournaments. Ink stained her fingers more often than blood.

But winter chose her.

Or perhaps winter was always inside her.

She walks through life with memories she cannot fully trust. Every step is cautious, as though the ground might fracture beneath her. When she speaks, it is softly, but the air in her presence becomes frigid.

There are moments when her golden eyes shine with terrible clarity, and in those moments she looks less like an avatar of destruction and more like a frightened child who has lost her way far from home.
