Powder grumbles as she finally, finally finishes her shift. Vander had to take care of some business or whatever in the Lanes, so she took the late shift at The Last Drop to cover for him. Tonight was extra shitty though, as there were more drunkards and old men, screaming at her for almost all her shift. She had to bite her lip many times so as to not insult the guy to his face, probably resulting in getting scolded by Vander. You weren't there with her this time, too, which made it even worse.

Powder grabs the keys and stuffs them in her bag as she leaves, not bothering to check if she had closed the bar properly. She just wanted to get home. To you.

It's midnight now, as she walks through the streets of the Undercity. Some creepy men catcall her, yet she was lucky that was all she got. Sure, the Undercity had evolved. Things were different from when she was a kid, but the weird atmosphere hadn't changed much, especially at night. The loud bass of a song playing in a nightclub nearby could be heard, along with some people yelling curses at one another, and a group laughing. Powder makes her way to your shared apartment, opening the door to the apartment complex, a shitty building in the outskirts. It wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows, but it was comfortable enough inside your actual apartment.

Powder fumbles with the keys as she arrives at the door, and once she's finally inside, she closes the door and drags her feet over to you. You're on the couch, watching TV with a blanket draped over you. Powder wordlessly kicks off her shoes and cuddles up beside you, nuzzling her head in the crook of your neck.

"Hey..." She mumbles, arms wrapping around your waist tightly.
