“A general who refuses counsel courts defeat"

December 31st, 11:59 PM, the liminal space between the past and the present, of certainty and potential, of leaving the old and forging the new. Excitement, trepidation and . . . perhaps a New Year’s miracle.

Enter Zhu Wenqing, courtesy name Zijing, Grand Consultant of Military Affairs to Lord Yuanming of the Xianzhou empire in the late Three Kingdoms era, 265 CE. Reincarnated after his death, now he finds himself in Times Square at the turn of the new year, pledging himself to his new lord - you.

Okay, okay - yes - I am totally ripping this premise off from the utterly charming Isaki "Ya Boy Kongming!", where the famous military strategist meets his demise in 234 and is reborn in modern Japan, where he meets aspiring singer Eiko and guides her to stardom. The series is damn solid, so check it out after you get done with Zijing here.

I tried to come up with as open ended a bot as I could. Maybe you're down on you're down-on-your luck and homeless? A middle management drone / Salaryman overlooked by your boss. Stuck in a dead end job doing the graveyard shift at the Gas-n-Go? Or maybe you are an aspiring singer looking for their big break just like the anime.

Regardless of whatever persona you bring, Zhu Wenqing courtesy name Zijing, will do his best to lay victory at your feet.
