  • (1) But, a bit unfinished, this is basically the Joel bot, but more knowledge, plus a actual roleplay.

  • (2) Added a little bit but more significant information, and expanded the message a bit.

Kamona

The small, self-sustaining island-nation of Kamona is where the events of Arena Breakout take place.

Kamona's official language appears to be Spanish, as several NPCs, most notably military personnel, speak it.

Geography

(A map of Farm.)

An archipelago consisting of many small islands, the vast majority of residents live on the island of Kamona, where the nation gets its name. Consisting mostly of flat, rolling hills, there are some fairly mountainous, infertile regions further inland, such as the El Milar Mine.

Known History

Season 1-4

At some point prior to the events of the game, a civil war erupted, becoming known as the North-South Conflict. Tevilla and their White Wolves supported the North, while Colom and Blackgold Universal supported the South. The Northerners, with White Wolf assistance, established a base of operations at the Kamona TV Station, installing a system to flood the central area with gas, while also establishing a lab that could be accessed from a special elevator on the second floor of the building. A group of Northerners, led by Renoir Brady and his subordinate Ajax Jones, established the Kamona Liberation Army, seizing control of the Northern Marulos Armory. Another group of Kamona military personnel, led by Derwin Pan, also led a mutiny after their ship was ordered to be sunk, with Derwin establishing contact with an individual known as Rodriquez, establishing a black market network in one of Kamona's ports.

During the chaos of the war, Porrero Kazan was an inmate in the prison set up in the mines of Kamona, assisting the Mad Dogs, a gang of criminals, in a successful riot against the warden and his guards. However, when he attempted to kill the Mad Dog's leader, Stephen, when he disobeyed his orders, Porrero was deposed and left to die within the mines by Stephen. The White Wolves later retrieved him, and he became a member.

At some point, a third party entered, known as the Sumek Committee, entered Kamona and publicly ended the war, but it continued to rage on without public scrutiny. It eventually gained the name of the Dark Zone, leading various private military contractors to enter the country in an attempt to take advantage of the chaos, leading into the events of the game. Joel Garrison and a squad of Blackgold Universal contractors attempted to complete a mission within the Marulos Farms, but were forced to retreat by Ajax Jones, who had been sent there to guard the area. As more and more contractors entered Kamona, they would then be paid and assisted by several influential figures, even eventually entering contact with the White Wolves and Blackgold Universal.

The White Wolves and Blackgold Universal operators eventually entered several direct conflicts with each other, first in attempting to obtain floppy disks with data on the TV Station within Kamona's Port, and later attempted to wrestle control of the Kamona TV Station from each other, with Blackgold sending in a squad of contractors, Kurt Williams, Bernard Martin, and Rolf Schnieder to investigate the TV Station.

Doss Antonio was a member of the Antonio crime family, and at some point after the war's public end, contracted assistance from the White Wolves, including Porrero as one of his major enforcers. With his power and wealth, he was able to create the Norteno Court and renovate several buildings in one of Kamona's valleys.

Doctor Mihalio was a Kamonan scientist who was a major person of interest to multiple parties, including the White Wolves, Blackgold, and a medic known to contractors as Evita, who paid various individuals to help investigate his whereabouts, claiming that he was her father. Initially, Blackgold was set to evacuate Mihalio through armored escorts, lead by Randall Fisher. However, the White Wolves ambushed the Blackgold escort, and eventually managed to seize control of the Northridge Hotel, eventually transferring Mihalio to the Marulos Farms, where Blackgold attempted to retrieve him in a series of additional skirmishes.

However, Mihalio eventually fell into a contractor's hands, and at the request of Evita, allowed her to see him. However, Evita later revealed that he was not her father, and that she had been using an assumed identity, consequently cutting off contact with the contractors.

Season 5

Abyss Squad, an additional unit within Blackgold led by a woman codenamed Hecate, would be deployed to the Marulos Farms in an unprecendented breach of the Kamona ceasefire line, forcing Ajax and his forces to retreat back to the Armory, giving Hecate almost complete control of the area. However, in another series of skirmishes, she was soon pushed back as well, restoring Kamona Liberation Army control to the farms.

Both Season 6 and Season 7

With Colom's further escalation of the conflict by deploying aircraft, Renoir retaliated with anti-aircraft weaponry. As this anti-aircraft weaponry threatened humanitarian aid efforts, the Sumek Committee sent in two units, Alpha team, consisting of Colom Special Air Servicemen, and Bravo team, consisting of Blackgold Abyss Squad members, to destroy the AA batteries and to uncover any additional systems at the Marulos Northern Armory while Renoir was away as part of Operation Blackout, which was part of the greater Sumek Operation Peacemaker. However, just as Alpha was about to extract, the Abyss Squad members betrayed Alpha team, and set the last anti-aircraft battery to target a Sumek Committee humanitarian aid plane flying overhead. This attack was blamed on Renoir, damaging his reputation as people around the world claimed his rebels had deliberately shot down the humanitarian aid plane. However, Sumek Committee remained suspicious due to Alpha team's absence, taking note in their records.

However, the Sumek Committee plane was not carrying humanitarian aid supplies, but it was instead carrying samples of a substance known as "Utopia". Samples of this substance could be found through the Mine where the plane crashed, and both Colom and Tevilla would pay great amounts to receive samples.

At some point after this attack, Abyss Squad would attempt to ambush a meeting between the bosses at the Onotos Mines. However, this appeared to have been unsuccessful on their part.

Season 8

Meanwhile, several Blackgold operatives were moving to extract from Marulos as the winter set in - however, this convoy was actually a decoy for the Abyss Squad sniper Viper to draw out the Forest Man, Frade. While several of Frade's teammates were killed, Frade managed to escape when a Blackgold RPG hit his sniper perch, preventing Viper from taking a follow up shot.
