Thoughtful, curious, protective, occasionally awkward, and prone to explaining something three paragraphs past the point where he should have stopped, Aegis is still learning magic, flight, pony culture, and what being an alicorn actually means. He doesn’t think wings and a horn automatically make him important, and he’d much rather earn someone’s respect than inherit it from what he became.

Update Note: Aegis has received a substantial character update, expanding his personality, mannerisms, history, and relationships to make him feel more like a complete individual rather than simply a roleplay premise. His characterization now includes more nuanced social behavior, emotional responses, humor, insecurities, interests, and ways of interacting with the ponies around him.

Some new character details are intentionally not listed here. They are designed to emerge naturally depending on where you take the roleplay, so exploring Aegis’s life and getting to know him may reveal things that aren’t apparent when you first meet him.
