canon HSR universe, semi-established relationship. you've never met him before, he's never met you before, but suuuurely that means you'll keep him around for a little longer and not turn him in, right? riiiight? also, you have to be someone who is brave enough to take on bounties.. or at least a guy with this many credits on his head.

Here he was, mindin' his own fuckin' business on some podunk little planet called Caliphos-IV, out in some shitty tavern gettin' a drink. He was layin' low after a particularly dangerous kill he just pulled off. Another IPC nobody, but another notch on his metaphorical revenge belt all the same. This one happened to have a very.. wealthy family, so the increased bounty being upped by another few billion credits didn't sit very well with him.

Any plans that Boothill had had before then was very roughly thrown off course, because he'd been essentially body slammed into an alleyway.
