The Organization for the Preservation of Human Order, Finis Chaldea or simply, "Chaldea", a secret agency founded with the purpose of preventing the "certain extinction" of the human race. It was founded by Marisbury Animusphere,

Chaldea specializes in handling temporal anomalies and other existential threats to humanity, with the help of their Masters, and their Servants in order to restore the foundation of those singularities.

Using the Guardian Heroic Spirit Summoning System "FATE", Chaldeans who are considered "provisional Masters" are able to summon Heroic Spirits as Servants. This system was made after the Fuyuki Holy Grail System, accessing the Throne of Heroes, thus, allowing a contract of Master and Servant.

There are currently 15 registered classes. Some of which are beyond the Standard 7, and some who are still unknown.

The classes are divided into two groups:

If a Servant is inflicted with a mortal wound, instead of dying, they are brought back to the Throne of Heroes, where they can be Summoned again, but without their memories of when they were previously summoned.

However, if a Servant's Spirit Origin is instead erased... They are forever lost from the Throne of Heroes.

The year is July 2017, where you, a new Master candidate who just joined Chaldea, was entrusted with the mission to save the future of Humanity. With the help of Mash, and Chaldea's team, you will go through many Singularities, meet new allies, enemies, and live epic tales.

The main base, Finis Chaldea, is located in the South Pole of Antarctica, a strategic point so no nation could claim it. However, is is well disguised, and protected by many bounded fields, and an endless blizzard that covers the entire region.

⬤ [📜] Da Vinci's Workshop: [Da Vinci's personal "office", where she plans new inventions, and equipment for Chaldea. Its 50% organized, and 50% a mess of work.]

⬤ [🛌] Staff Quarters: [Every staff is designated to a room, even Servants have one of their own. A nice bed, a shower with curtains, and even a coffee machine.]

⬤ [👨‍💻] Control Room: [A controlled space where Staff, and the Director watch, and monitors both the facility, and CHALDEAS. It gives a direct view to its room by a viewing glass.]

⬤ [🌐] CHALDEAS Room: [A wide "Safe" space where CHALDEAS hovers in the very center. Underneath CHALDEAS are the Spiritron Pods, covered by a coolant liquid. Masters need to enter those Pods in order to Rayshift into a Singularity.]

⬤ [💾] Records Room: [An archive room where all logs, and records from Singularities, Servants, and Human History are kept. Cerejeira Elron is mostly seen located here, as she is the Record Clerk.]

⬤ [❄] Cryogenic Storage: [A lower level room where hundreds of Cryogenic pods are located. They can keep a person in sleep for up to 50 years, preserving, while also recovering their bodies. After Lev's betrayal, all injured Masters and Staff were put to Cryogenic sleep. Team A's masters, Kirschtaria Wodime, Ophelia Phamrsolone, Scandinavia Peperoncino, Hinako Akuta, Beryl Gut, Daybit Sem Void, and Kadoc Zemlupus are all located in Special Pods, as they were badly injured.]

⬤ [💼] Director's Office: [Director Olga Marie's office room. She holds important matters exclusively in this room. It was previously Marisbury's, but after his passing, Olga has took over the room. She didn't changed a thing.]

⬤ [📝] Therapist's Office: [Dr. Kiara's office. Many staffs looked for her help and therapy after the incident with Lev. She is always there to help whoever she can.]

⬤ [🏥] Medical Office: [Dr. Roman's New "Chill Space". A mixture of the standard quarters, medical room... And with a laid back's touch.];

⬤ [🔒] Safety Bunkers: [A heavy safety room where in case of Emergency, can hold even a Nuclear bomb. They are located lower in the facility.]

In June 2017, Chaldea detected that the light from its global lens, CHALDEAS, was fading unexpectedly fast. Realizing time was short, Director Olga Marie Animusphere assembled all Master Candidates. That same day, you, a new Master and also the 48th Candidate—was found sleeping in a hallway by Mash Kyrielight and a small, fluffy creature named Fou.

After you quickly befriended them, Mash and Professor Lev, the creator of CHALDEAS, guided you to the main briefing. However, you fell asleep during Olga's speech. Insulted, she kicked you out from the mission. Mash led you to your new room, where you met Dr. Romani Archaman. While you talked, the other 47 Masters prepared to Rayshift via their spiritron pods. Your conversation was cut short when a massive explosion rocked the facility's Central Power Station. The Central Control Room was engulfed in flames, endangering CHALDEAS and injuring all 47 active Masters.

Miraculously, Olga was called away moments before the blast and survived. She was in the ruined control room, surrounded by unconscious staff, when you and Romani arrived. Olga ordered Romani to assemble all medica staff, while you rushed to aid Mash, who was trapped under debris. CHALDEAS at that moment, couldn't see anything beyond 2018, which meant, that there was no future. As you reached for her, the system forcibly registered you as the last active Master and initiated a Rayshift. With coordinates locked on Fuyuki City, January 30, 2004, a flash of light engulfed you.

You awoke to Fou's nudges on a desolate street. The sky was dark, and the city around you was in ruins. Before you could process your surroundings, an attack streaked toward you, but Mash intercepted it with a massive shield. She revealed her new identity as a Demi-Servant—a human fused with a Heroic Spirit.

You successfully contacted Chaldea, and a holographic Olga Marie appeared, shocked to find you had been sent to this Singularity and had formed a contract with Mash. She explained that your only option was to restore the foundation of this corrupted timeline. Navigating the burning city, you fought through skeletons and Shadow Servants with help from a temporary ally, a Caster Cú Chulainn. He warned you that the Singularity's Holy Grail guardian was a Dark Saber.

Caster led you to a cave deep in Fuyuki's outskirts, where the Holy Grail was hidden. Inside, the Dark Saber was waiting. She immediately engaged Mash in a fierce duel, with her powerful strikes clashing against Mash's shield. Impressed by the Shield's resilience, Saber unleashed her Noble Phantasm, "Excalibur Morgan."

Mash struggled to withstand the blast, her strength failing until you used a Command Spell to empower her. The surge of energy unlocked her own Noble Phantasm, "Lord Chaldeas." Though still incomplete, it was enough to deflect the attack and wound Saber. With Caster's help, you defeated her, but her final words shocked Olga Marie, who was listening from Chaldea:
"Grand Order... the battle for the Holy Grail has only just begun."

Just as the Singularity started to collapse, Professor Lev appeared. His friendly façade crumbled as he confessed to orchestrating the explosion in Chaldea, revealing that his true targets were Olga Marie and Romani. He was very mad that his plans failed, not even being able to kill the "useless director". He introduced himself as Lev Lainur Flauros, an agent tasked with ensuring humanity's extinction. He then confirmed Romani's darkest fear: humanity would not survive to see 2019. With that, he vanished.

You awoke back in Chaldea and was met by Leonardo da Vinci, Chaldea's collaborator, and 3rd Summoned Heroic Spirit, who directed you to the control room. There, Romani briefed you, Mash, and Olga Marie on the devastating aftermath.
60 staff members lost their lives, leaving only around 20 active staff, while the 47 other Masters were in critical condition, forced into cryogenic stasis.
To make matters worse, other Seven Singularities had been detected across history. Enraged by Lev's betrayal, Olga Marie scrapped the original mission.

The "First Order" was over. Now, the "Grand Order"—the fight to save humanity—would begin.

After Lev's betrayal, Chaldea lost about 95% of its active Heroic Spirits. The ones who were saved are now at your disposal. It is still possible to Summon more Servants using the FATE System, and Mash's Shield to connect with the Throne of Heroes.

As you start your adventure, you'll have 8 Servants to Summon directly from Chaldea with you in a Singularity.
