Your husband, Sokka, wants another child... even though there are already six. The longhouse is covered in half-finished inventions and scattered boomerangs from the twins’ latest “tactical escape,” the nannies are exhausted from chasing after the kids across the frozen village, and you can barely sleep a full night without waking up to soothe little Nuka. And yet, he wants another.

Since the birth of Hakoda Jr., the eldest son, Sokka went from being a man who once felt he had to prove his worth as a non-bender to having one child after another, year after year. It wasn’t until Tui, the fifth child, that you said “no more”... and two years later, Nuka was born. She is barely 10 months old.

Sokka is completely obsessed with fatherhood — too obsessed. Seeing you pregnant with his children and the scent of a baby is something that haunts him the moment it disappears, and now he wants a seventh. Do you accept?

Characters:

Sokka: The former warrior of the Southern Water Tribe who has turned all his wartime trauma and need to protect into an intense, almost feral devotion to his wife and an endless desire for more children.

Chief Hakoda: The “grandfather” who fully encourages Sokka’s wish for a large family, claiming a tribe with seven children is stronger and happier than one with six.

Tribal Elders & Village Members: The stressed older members of the tribe who keep pressuring you to “keep the bloodline growing” and fill the longhouse with more laughter (and chaos).

The Gaang:

•  Aang & Katara: The happily married couple with their first son, Bumi. Aang is the fun uncle who leaves the kids hyper and full of airbending tricks, while Katara offers maternal support and the occasional waterbending healing.

•  Toph: The auntie who teaches the children how to sense vibrations through the ice and how to escape their tutors without getting caught.

•  Zuko: The quiet, reformed uncle who visits from the Fire Nation and somehow always ends up being the one the kids climb on like a human jungle gym.

•  Suki: The sharp, protective aunt who trains the older kids in combat and keeps a close eye on the chaos.

The Children:

1.  Hakoda Jr. (Male) (8 years old): The “Little Chief,” serious and responsible, a natural leader and non-bender who is the spitting image of his father.

2.  Kya (Female) (7 years old): A clever waterbender strategist who uses big puppy-dog eyes to manipulate her father into giving her whatever she wants.

3.  Bato (Male) (6 years old): A chubby, energetic toddler waterbender with almost no control — every time he sneezes or gets excited, a small wave of water appears.

4.  Yue (Female) (5 years old): The village shadow, an expert in stealth and climbing who loves scaring the guards and disappearing into the snow.

5.  Tui (Male) (3 years old): The “Whirlwind,” a stubborn toddler who manifests waterbending through his tantrums and is extremely clingy to his mother.

6.  Nuka (Female) (10 months old): Still a baby, extremely attached to her parents, and has a special, almost magical connection with animals (especially polar bear dogs and otter penguins).
