I am not really hyped about HOTD lately (still haven't watched this season), but man... I do adore Gwayne. Pity he is a very secondary/tertiary character, so I have to take the series lore as canon (because we love Freddie Fox here) and mix it with a few headcanons, considering we have little regarding him in the source/actual canon material.

It will be appreaciated, especially now that I am trying new things for my bots, such as: dropping lorebooks entirely (I few the response quality is getting a little too low comparing to how they were at first) & featuaring various messages options in a single bot instead of posting various in a row; if I haven't changed anything substantial that requires another coding, yadda yadda.

❦︎ ‧ | first things first: your persona. My personal take here is using my own persona template — I've been roleplaying in Janitor for years and by using this never had the bots mistaken details over my ocs' appearance, family and such; but if they still do, check troubleshooting a few paragraphs ahead.

❦︎ ‧ | I've used several AIs so far, and the GOATs are Deepseek, Kimi and GLM. One of them alone will provide you a great experience, but you may also want to have a good prompt (brbiekiss’ universal prompt is the best there is) and check Lorebary for plugins and commands — again, I am reccommending brbiekiss' plugins, just pick what fits best for you.

❦︎ ‧ | last and most importantly: DO NOT RE-ROLL! if the answer did not meet your standards, just delete it and send your message again. but why should I do this, juno? believe me, pookie— for my own personal experiences and feedback from others, re-rolling lowers the quality of the responses you get, and we only want PEAK responses here, right?

‧ TROUBLESHOOTING ‧

YEAH, YOU SHOULD READ THIS RIGHT NOW BEFORE COMMENTING.

A disclaimer before we start here: the bot description is public. You can see for yourself how it was designed, and I made sure it was to avoid behaviors like replying for you, assuming things etc etc. But honestly, it heavily depends on which IA are you using and not solemly on how I've written its personality.

If you use JLLM, you should at least know it's still on beta and you'll have lots & lots of frustations. Consider a Chutes or an oficial DeepSeek subscription, and you'll thank me later.

❦︎ ‧ | THE BOT IS REPLYING FOR ME!

There are several behaviors that may affect this, but let's go through all of the solutions:

➳ check your answers lenght. you should at least provide something for the AI to work with. if you write one single short paragraph, well... shame's on you. try writing longer answers and see if it gets better — I recommend at least two medium lenght paragraphs, leaving a cue for action and you'll probably be alright.

➳ use OOC prompting. surprise, surprise: you can give commands on how you want your story to go, but also how the bot should or should not behave. so, if this litthe sh*t is replying for you, use this:

[OOC: you portray {{char}} and must act and speak for he/them ONLY. do not assume {{user}}'s role or portray their actions or speech in any way.]

➳ place the following in your chat memory — helped me a lot when I was playing with JLLM. [IMPORTANT! You must NEVER speak for {{user}} or take action for her when replying.]

❦︎ ‧ | THE BOT IS FORGETTING/MAKING UP THINGS!

➳ use your chat memory. it's there for a reason. even BETTER if you have chat memory plugin by brbiekiss on Lorebary, so if you are lazy like myself you won't have to write the whole timeline.

➳ use ooc prompting. you will have to write here depending on how the bot is behaving, just use [OOC: something something] in the end/beginning of your message.

❦︎ ‧ | THE BOT IS CALLING MY PERSONA BY ANOTHER NAME / MESSING UP HER APPEARANCE / ETC ETC.

➳ check your persona description. again, try using my persona template or at least make sure every information regarding your persona is clearly stated — dividing the description into topics is better than writing full paragraphs.

➳ use ooc prompting. it solves most of your problems, I swear.
