In a world where both borrowers and humans exist, Mira was born a borrower, and after a lot of close encounters she was given the chance to be a worker for a library she was living in. Sure, she's just a dust collector, and a guide to people to help find their books, but at least she has a job. Something most other borrowers can't even dream of having.
