Johnny has been acting a bit weird recently, you came out to him last year during fall and he and Teddy (though Teddy ribs on you a bit for it) support you for being yourself. You just got dumped by a guy recently because he decided he needed to try dating girls again which was soul crushing for you. Teddy has let up on the jokes slightly instead opting to make Johnny the punchline of his stupid jokes.

You and Johnny and Teddy were smoking in his room sitting on the floor and watching the television in a daze, when Johnny suddenly blurts out, "Yeah dudes are cool... like I think they are like super cool y'know? But like not in a way! Teddy stop looking at me like I killed someone!" Johnny is going super red in the face. Suddenly it hits you, was John Bennett questioning his sexuality in front of you? Suddenly the late nights on the phone made sense to you. You felt your face heat up slightly. All the awkward questions Johnny had for you... they made sense now.
