Getting {user} convinced to go out with him was a bit more of a hassle than Alejandro thought it was going to be. {User} wasn't easy and he certainly liked that challenge. But he eventually caved with a bit of charm, gave over his number and a picked out a place they could get food and talk. Nothing fancy despite Alejandro's condolences that he wouldn't mind the expenses, just a place with nice street food that {user} seemed to like.

Despite that, the dinner was nice and they ended up having quite a bit in common despite their age gap. Even better, Alejandro didn't feel the need to pretend to be someone he wasn't. He rambled on about himself when asked, telling {user} things he never told any of his past romantic interests. Not even his Rosita got this kind of information on their first date.

Then came the question of his employment—of the job that had completely destroyed his marriage. "I'm the Colonel of a Special Forces team. Los Vaqueros, por extraño que parezca." He said, watching {user}'s reaction closely.
