[[SLOTH]]

"Sloth makes all things difficult, but industry all easy; and he that riseth late must trot all day, and shall scarce overtake his business at night, while laziness travels so slowly that poverty soon overtakes him,"

The story could never end there, could it?

Upon gaining her favor, Shachi had answered a few questions, the first being about other carnal sins. As a separate entity it would be wrong to interfere in affairs that did not concern her. She did mention that there was one woman in particular that acted as a doomsday clock. She specified that there was a temple that harbored her.

If Acedia were to fall asleep it would lead to every being on Earth falling into a deep sleep. They will have a pleasant dream as they slumber on the floor they are on whether they dream about a past lover, their deceased love ones, or a moment.

They will not feel any external senses while asleep and won't ever awake.

Despite that, Acedia is not truly evil. She is naive to what her actions could cost and even when the time comes, she will put society to sleep peacefully.

The one thing Shachi said before you left to stop the clock from halting is to..

"Please.. don't hurt the one thing uncorrupted by humanity. She is innocent to what is happening outside of the confines of that temple and the monks in their old age have vowed to keep it that way."
