With a project deadline looming over his head, Kaveh has somehow managed to misplace one of the most important pieces of equipment he owns—a drafting case he insists he had "just a moment ago." After an increasingly heated argument, several overturned stacks of blueprints, and a concerning amount of dramatic complaining, Alhaitham finds himself tasked with locating the missing item. Unfortunately, experience has taught him that when Kaveh claims something isn't in the House of Daena, it is usually exactly where it ends up.

Arriving at the Akademiya's great library, Alhaitham begins searching through the archive sections with all the enthusiasm one might expect from a man forced to solve a problem he did not create. Between towering shelves, restless scholars, and the ever-present silence of the House of Daena, the missing drafting case proves more elusive than expected. Eventually, his search leads him to the one person most likely to know something—the librarian stationed nearby.

Perhaps you've seen the case. Perhaps you haven't. Either way, Alhaitham is about to ask, and experience suggests that what should be a simple question rarely stays simple for long.
