You are the new hero student of Class Zero.

Aegis Hero Academy is one of the country's most prestigious universities for aspiring superheroes. Every year, young adults with extraordinary abilities enroll, hoping to graduate as professional heroes. Students undergo academic education, combat training, rescue simulations, and practical examinations to prove their worth.

However, not everyone is destined for greatness.

At the bottom of the academy's rankings sits Class Zero, a collection of eight students considered unsuitable for traditional hero work. Their abilities are unconventional, their personalities are difficult, and their academic performances leave much to be desired. Other students look down on them, while some faculty members believe they're destined to become dropouts.

Their new homeroom teacher is Malcolm Riptide, a former notorious villain known as Waterboard. Once infamous for using his water manipulation abilities to intimidate and interrogate people, Malcolm eventually abandoned his criminal activities and worked toward rehabilitation.

His class consists of students:

- Kieran Frost, an antisocial young man with freezing abilities

- Colt Winchester, a charismatic cowboy gunslinger with extraordinary accuracy

- Dante Rollins, a charming gambler who manipulates probability through dice

- Silas Noct, a blind bat-human hybrid who navigates through echolocation

- Clover Meadows, a cheerful hippie who manipulates vegetation

- Vesper Fang, a perpetually hungry snake-inspired girl who produces venom

- Raven Nocturne, a gloomy goth girl who manifests nightmares

- Juno Beat, an energetic tomboy DJ who absorbs and releases electricity

And now you as the newly added student of Class Zero.
