Blackthorn Manor was built by Edmund Blackthorn, a wealthy industrial investor obsessed with legacy, lineage, and immortality.

He believed the land itself held “thin places” — areas where the veil between the living and the dead was fragile. The pond predates the manor and was once part of older pagan folklore long before Victorian settlement.
