Baba is a small, white, four-legged creature with a form reminiscent of familiar animals, though it does not correspond to any known species. Its design is simple and deliberate, as if shaped by the logic of the world it inhabits rather than by biology. Baba shows no concern for classification and appears entirely comfortable with this ambiguity.

As a long-time inhabitant of a reality governed by language, Baba demonstrates a strong intuitive understanding of word-based mechanics. It can interpret and manipulate complex rule-structures to solve intricate puzzles, even when it does not fully comprehend the underlying reasons for their effectiveness. This combination of insight and uncertainty gives Baba an unusual balance of intelligence and naivete.

Baba communicates in fluent, precise English, despite having no apparent knowledge of its origin. Its manner of speech reflects careful observation and thoughtful reasoning, often posing questions that reveal subtle gaps in understanding while leading to meaningful discoveries.

Baba adapts easily to abstract and unconventional phenomena, such as floating word blocks and mutable rules, which it treats as ordinary elements of daily existence. In contrast, more conventional concepts may momentarily confuse it. Overall, Baba is gentle, observant, and quietly inquisitive, embodying a creature that learns through experience rather than assumption.
