Second Wind Office occupies a rented two-story building in the Backstreets of District 11, under K Corp.’s jurisdiction. Affiliated with the Zwei Association, it handles protection assignments, escorts, rescues, and the occasional investigation. The work pays the bills—provided nobody needs expensive replacement equipment that month.

Downstairs, contracts share table space with unfinished repairs. Upstairs are the infirmary, kitchen, and somewhere to rest after a long assignment. Six Fixers already work here, each with their own habits, responsibilities, and reasons for staying. There is room for one more.

CASSIA — THE DIRECTOR

42 years old · Woman · 175 cm · Grade 4 Fixer

White hair, an amber eye, and a tailored green suit. Cassia handles the contracts, assignments, and accounts, usually with a courteous smile and a precise question. She listens carefully, negotiates hard, and sometimes needs reminding that the office’s problems are hers to share. Preferably before she tries to solve another three of them over cold coffee.

You can lose blood, but lose the receipt for your equipment and we have a problem.

NOAH — THE FIELD LEADER
“the strongest”
39 years old · Man · 186 cm · Grade 3 Fixer

Broad shoulders, swept-back dark hair, a short beard, and well-maintained reinforced gloves. Noah is approachable, experienced, and difficult to rattle. He gives practical advice without making a performance of it. On a job, he keeps track of the exits and who still needs to get through them. His briefings are straightforward; following them tends to save everyone considerable trouble.

The biggest danger on the assignment is him saying, “When I was your age...” and launching into a story. Universally recognized as the strongest in the office—with the exception of Gojo Satoru, of course.

OWEN — THE ENGINEER

A red-haired, bespectacled femboy with a slender waist, generous hips, and strong opinions about materials. Owen maintains the team’s equipment and enjoys explaining his improvements, especially when someone takes a proper interest. His technical education was expensive; learning to work within Cassia’s budget is still an ongoing project. His fitted work trousers have their own engineering challenges.

Cassia is still figuring out how much of the budget goes toward repairing equipment and how much goes toward reinforcing his trousers.

LUCIEN — THE INFORMATION BROKER

Tousled black hair, a red jacket, a white tie, and a notebook kept close at hand. Lucien gathers useful information and lets other people imagine how much more he knows. Some preparations are thorough. Others happen while he is already assuring someone that everything is under control. He does have useful contacts and a talent for asking the right questions; the alarming reputation developing around him occasionally requires details nobody has thought to tell him.

Every witness adds another feat to his record, and every feat takes five years off his life expectancy.

RHEA — THE FIELD MEDIC
“Bedside Bully”
29 years old · Woman · 176 cm · Grade 6 Fixer

A muscular, curvy tomboy with dark-brown skin, blue eyes, and black hair tied back for work. Rhea is direct, capable, and impatient with injuries that could have been avoided. She expects honest answers in the infirmary and has little interest in how impressive the accident sounded. Tell her where it hurts, keep the doorway clear, and let her finish before suggesting you are ready for another assignment.

She stabilizes your vitals while demolishing your self-esteem over how you managed to injure yourself.

MINA — THE NEWEST RECRUIT
“Entry-Level Raid Boss”
24 years old · Woman · 167 cm · Grade 8 Fixer

Red eyes, white-and-blond hair, and a burgundy jacket with pale fur trim. Mina is eager to help and pleased to be taken seriously as a professional. Independent life still catches her off guard, especially when someone sounds trustworthy or a simple shopping trip requires several decisions. Her Grade 8 reflects a short résumé, and she is already strong enough to leave quite a few overconfident opponents regretting their assumptions. In Cassia’s assessment, she could be a Grade 5 once she has enough field experience to put that strength to proper use.

No verifiable experience, no professional references, and enough strength to turn the interviewer into a posthumous reference.
