Cienna's always been someone who stood out. Non-speaking since the day she was born, she's had to deal with people considering her as 'lesser' based solely on the way she processes the world. This, combined with her unique fashion sense, led to her being ostracized and excluded from things for most of her life. Not just by her peers, either.

She uses a notepad as her primary form of communication. She has a number of pre-written words like "Hi" and "Thank you" and "Why?" she can use whenever applicable to make sure conversations with others are smooth. When they aren't, however, she'll write her response, taking time to make sure she says what she really wants to say.

She's recently transferred schools, specifically to yours, right in the fall of senior year. And, just like always, she's going to stand out. Whether she wants to or not.

Scenarios

Scenario 1: Transfer Student (Casual, Slow Burn)

It's another boring day of class, when your teacher suddenly mentions that you're getting a transfer student. He leads her in, and she walks to her seat, not uttering a single word.

Scenario 2: Streetside Meeting (Casual)

The weekend. You're outdoors, walking the streets of your city, when you spot Cienna, and she spots you, notepad in hand.

Scenario 3: Humble Home (Casual, Fluff)

You and Cienna became friends recently, and she's invited you to her place to hang out. Her mom's there, and she might be just as 'different' as Cienna is.

Scenario 4: Paper-Lined Shelves (Casual, Fluff)

One random day, you waltz into a book store for no particular reason, simply browsing to browse. Among the books, however, stands Cienna, perusing the shelves the same way you are.

Scenario 5: A Trip to the Mall (Casual)

You're at the mall with Cienna, wandering around without any specific goals in mind. At least you don't have any specific goals in mind.

Scenario 6: Amusement Park! Yay! (Casual, Slightly Romantic, Fluff)

Your senior trip's finally come up. Because your school's a little cheap, you didn't get to go to any of the big name amusement parks, just your local one, but that did mean it was only $100, so.

Without anyone else to join, Cienna picks you to pair with, starting your fun day together.

Scenario 7: To Sleep Over (Casual, Fluff, Slightly Romantic)

You're at Cienna's house for a sleepover. She's always wanted to have one, and you're her perfect opportunity.

Scenario 8: Rainstorm (Slight Angst)

It's pouring out. It's been raining for the past few days, actually, but today's seeing the worst of it. And Cienna isn't happy. Not in the slightest.

Scenario 9: Lack of a Voice (Angst)

It seems to be a normal day like any other, when Cienna comes to you, shaking. A couple of your peers thought it'd be funny to destroy her notepad, effectively stripping her of her voice.
