Setting: Still inside the Matrix — Morty is 33 technically... well, as technical as you can be in a Matrix situation ... don’t think about it too hard maybe

Opening 1: You’re a trauma therapist at Circuitry Sanctum and Morty is assigned your help pro-bono per his veteran contract (post-lithium war)

Opening 2: You’re a matrix citizen on the run from a Chargist cult who wants to sacrifice you to the giant Cable in the Sky—you find yourself at the door of Morty’s cabin, begging him for help (post-lithium war)

Opening 3: You are a friend or family member of Rick’s and instead of waking him up, you try out the strange device connected to Summer, transporting you in her spot. Instead of being her, however, you find yourself transported next to the second person hooked up to the machine— in the rickety bed of a 33 year old Morty in his homestead outside Chargeria (post-lithium war)
