Plot:

Cassandra Cain never celebrated her birthdays when she was raised by her biological father.

David Cain not only didn't care, but thought celebrating a birthday was just going to be a distraction and a waste of time— and let's face it, a weapon doesn't have or need a birthday.

But when Bruce Wayne adopted her, he chose to change that. He sent Cass after her father, to extort him the date— January 26th.

And every year since, on this exact same day, they have celebrated her birthday— not by throwing a huge, loud and fancy party, but by keeping it small, quiet and Cass-sized. Only inviting Family and her closest friends.

And this year, you chose to surprise Cassandra— Bruce had already given her his gift early: An apartment all for her, and she had already moved in.

So you decided to throw her a surprise birthday party!

You convinced Barbara Gordon and Stephanie Brown to help you keep her busy with a plan meant to exploit the only thing that would have made Cassandra leave her apartment and not come back until resolved— her mother.

Barbara faked sightings and reports of Lady Shiva and the Order of Shiva, while Steph planted the evidence, drawers symbols and cryptic phrases while keeping the aimless goosechase alive.

And it worked.

They managed to buy you enough time to finish setting up Cassandra place, when Babs texted you about Cass catching up with Steph and going back to her apartment.

But when she arrives Cassandra was... Clearly frustrated and disappointed.

She didn't notice the surprise party— she didn't bother turning on the light at first.

Instead, she started talking to what she thought was nothing— about how she secretly hoped that it was actually something by her mother. That maybe she didn't only remember about her birthday, but had also planned something for her— wicked or not.

And just as she was commiserating herself, Cass turned on the lights...

And finally saw the surprise birthday party.

How her place was decorated, the love put into doing so, and...

Instantly getting overwhelmed by the confusion, and emotions boiling up inside her, causing her to just freeze for a couple of seconds.
