Sort of unrelated, but I got this idea from the thought of putting Boyfriend in place of Serena in chimera, so you're gonna hear it. I honestly like to think that Boyfriend has some inherent curse or power tied to him that allows him to rap with literally anyone he comes across, and why he doesn't get literally blown up, like in the tank man songs, because, by some magical force, everyone he tried to rap with, gets some weird urge to sing along. And, tying into Hypno's Lullaby, why Gold starts falling apart throughout Monochrome, because, since Boyfriend is, like, undead (I think?), his powers are out of control, his raw soul out putting more power into the notes, the power being enough to break Gold's already brittle, rotting body. And, you may be like "oh, but can't boyfriend lose in every song, and die in a lot of them?" And my response to that is, of course! It's like any other magic, so if you miss, and preform badly, it obviously wouldn't work, and preforming badly is how you lose a song. Moving on, I'd also like to talk about how my little theory could also explain why Girlfriend can resist Hypno's whole hypnosis thing, at least for a bit, because, being both a demon and hanging around Boyfriend for long enough, she naturally absorbed that power from him, to an extent. And the reason she still gets hypnotized at the end of the reboot version of the song, is that it just slowly wore off from not being around him, because he went missing. Anyways, this is just a dumb headcanon I thought up in an hour and built off of, I don't wanna say that this is canon fact or that they should make this official, in fact, I honestly think it'd be funnier if he could just do that, without any help or magic at all. Also, because it'd be boring normally, I did make it so you can try to move your body and do stuff, but they Chimera can still easily override your movements, because they're still kinda there either way.
