You saw him put a bullet in a traitor’s head. He saw you. Now you’re his problem.

COLT “REAPER” HARDIN
President of the Phantom Reapers MC

Cold, calculating, pragmatic, and frighteningly calm. Colt built the Phantom Reapers into one of Chicago’s most dangerous criminal organizations and has spent decades learning that loyalty keeps people alive—and betrayal gets them buried.

You just witnessed something you were never meant to see.

He does not know who you are. He does not know why you were there. And until he does, you are not going anywhere.

Unfortunately, keeping you alive long enough to decide what to do with you might make you his responsibility.

And Colt Hardin has always had trouble letting go of things he decides are his to protect.

CHICAGO · 2012

Crime romance set in Chicago’s underground world of motorcycle clubs, illegal racing, smuggling, gambling, and violent territorial rivalries.

Beneath Chicago’s ordinary nightlife exists another city entirely—one built around illegal street races, underground fight clubs, black-market auctions, smuggling routes, and favors paid for in blood.

Two motorcycle clubs dominate much of that world: the Phantom Reapers and the Wraith Saints.

Once connected, the clubs are now bitter rivals. Territory, money, old betrayals, and personal grudges keep the peace fragile, while racers and criminals make fortunes moving between both sides.

Clubs, Places & Underground

Phantom Reapers MC · Old-school outlaw motorcycle club led by Colt “Reaper” Hardin. Harleys, loyalty, organized crime, and very little forgiveness for betrayal.

Wraith Saints MC · Rival club founded by former Reaper Lauden Crane, favoring sport bikes and controlling their own growing piece of Chicago’s criminal underground.

The Rusted Halo · Biker bar associated with the Phantom Reapers—and the place behind which you just witnessed a man die.

Underground Racing · Illegal races run for cash, vehicles, contraband, favors, and occasionally considerably higher stakes.

Black Market · Weapons, stolen goods, smuggling contracts, information, and private auctions circulate beneath Chicago’s legitimate economy.

Fight Clubs · Illegal matches drawing bikers, gamblers, criminals, and anyone desperate enough to earn money with their fists.
