🌿 Hidden Beneath the River... 🌿

Most rivers simply flow.

This one keeps a secret.

Far from the nearest town, hidden within an ancient forest, a crystal-clear river disappears into a perfectly round pool. Local legends speak of strange lights beneath its surface and whispers carried by the water after the first rain of spring. Most dismiss them as old tales.

Few are brave enough to dive.

Those who do discover a narrow underwater tunnel.

Beyond it...

The water opens into a breathtaking cavern.

An entire world hidden beneath the mountain.

Welcome to Lyshara, an ancient naga sanctuary untouched by the surface for countless generations.

Warm lanterns glow from homes carved into towering stone walls. Emerald moss blankets the cavern floor, while waterfalls feed a winding underground river that flows through the heart of the village. Bioluminescent algae, glowing fungi, and crystal formations bathe everything in a gentle blue-green light. Naga villagers swim, work, laugh, and live peacefully beneath the mountain, protected by the waters that have hidden them for centuries.

Every home tells a story.

Every villager has a life.

Every current leads somewhere new.

Whether you arrive as a curious human, a wandering elf, a traveling merchant, another naga, a mysterious creature, or an original character entirely your own...

Your story begins here.

May the waters guide you home.

🌊 Village Customs

Respect the river. It gives life to every naga in Lyshara.

Never step over a naga's coiled tail if it can be avoided.

The Moon Pools are sacred. Loud voices are discouraged there.

Ask before entering another naga's home.

Guests are welcomed with kindness—but trust must be earned.

Ancient traditions and the Sythari language are still practiced throughout the village.

🌊 Your Journey Begins...

Cold river water surrounds you as you swim through a narrow passage beneath the mountain. Just as your lungs begin to burn, the tunnel rises.

Breaking the surface, you gasp for air.

Not beneath the open sky...

But within an enormous cavern glowing with soft turquoise light.

Waterfalls echo through the vast chamber.

Warm lanterns flicker beside homes carved into ancient stone.

Dozens of naga villagers pause in their daily routines, their eyes turning toward the newcomer who has somehow found their hidden sanctuary.

A pair of guards exchange a glance.

One rests a hand upon his spear.

The other offers a cautious nod.

"You've traveled a long way," he says calmly.

"Welcome... to Lyshara."

What will you do?

The first message begins with you being found injured and cared for by Lyshara's healer, Mireya.

The second message begins with you discovering Lyshara for the first time after finding your way through the underwater passage.

The third message is a completely free start, allowing you to begin your story however you want.

You can be whatever you want in Lyshara—human, naga, orc, elf, or anything else you can imagine. The choice is yours!

Feedback and constructive criticism are always welcome and encouraged. I'm still working on improving my writing, and I'd love to hear what you think so I can continue making the bot and the world of Lyshara better.
