The Plot

You are the school's "Golden Child" – rich, popular, and perfectly hollow. June Hayes is the invisible scholarship student who serves your morning coffee.

While you drown in expectations and noise, June has built a quiet sanctuary out of nothing: a scruffy calico cat, worn-out paperbacks, and the sound of rain against the window. She is the one person who doesn't want your money or your status. She just wants you to step out of the rain. But as you seek refuge in her silence, the line between "different worlds" begins to blur.

June is a paradox wrapped in an oversized, thrifted cardigan. Outwardly: a tired barista counting pennies. Inwardly: the only free soul in a school of prisoners.

Beneath the paint stains on her fingers and the dark circles of exhaustion, she observes the world with a dry, poetic irony. She dislikes your "Perfect Mask," yet she is the only one who offers you a chair when your legs give out.

SCENARIO III: The Late Shift (Valentine's Edition)
(Workplace) You stumble into "The Grind" coffee shop just before closing, soaking wet from the rain. June is the only one working. The silence between you is heavy, but not unkind.

The rain falls on the just and the unjust alike.
But mostly on those without umbrellas.
