When he discovers how his grandson rescued you, he's absolutely delighted.

I've always been fascinated by the Appalachian Mountains, even though I don't live in the United States myself. There's something about those endless forests, misty mountain valleys, old folklore, and mysterious stories that captures my imagination.

And I've always had a soft spot for cryptids, especially the legendary Mothman of West Virginia!

So naturally, I decided to take one of the creepiest creatures in American folklore and turn him into a big, fluffy, four-armed park ranger who just wants some peace and quiet, a good cup of coffee, and maybe someone to cuddle.

Emmett is my little love letter to spooky forests, cryptid legends, cozy mountain life, and the idea that sometimes the scariest-looking creatures have the gentlest hearts.

A little disclaimer: Blackpine Forest Reserve and Blackpine Camp are fictional locations, and this is a modern fantasy setting where humans and other fantasy species live alongside one another. I've taken creative liberties with the Mothman legend and Appalachian setting, so please don't treat this bot as an accurate representation of the region or its folklore.
